Terms
The agreement between your business and Dhow, in plain words.
1. The service
Dhow gives your business the modules you sign up for — for example the restaurant (till, QR ordering, kitchen screens, waiters, delivery), the front desk and housekeeping, and finance — on your own address at getdhow.com. We check each sign-up before the system is made.
Some things need our team or another company before they work: card payments need your own agreement with Bank of Maldives; WhatsApp and Viber need a number we connect with you; the bank feed and the AI features are add-ons.
2. Prices
The prices on our Pricing page are founding prices. Every new system starts with a 30-day free trial; after it you choose a plan, or we pause the system and keep your data for you. Our first 3 customers, whom we tell when we approve them, pay nothing for their first year. We tell you at least 30 days before any price applies to you or changes, and you can leave before it does.
3. Your account and your team
You must be allowed to sign the business up, and the details you give us must be true.
You are responsible for who you give access to and for keeping passwords private. The owner who signed up is the first administrator and decides what each person can do.
4. Your data
Everything your business puts into Dhow stays yours. You are responsible for having the right to keep your guests’ and staff’s details and for using them lawfully; we look after them as our Privacy notice says.
When you leave, we give you a copy of your data on request.
5. Your prices, taxes and records
You set your own prices and tax settings, and you are responsible for your tax returns and statutory records. Dhow calculates and reports from what you enter; check the figures before you file them.
6. Fair use
Do not use Dhow to break the law, to send messages people did not ask for, or to try to reach another business’s data. We may suspend a system that is used this way, or that is not paid for after a reminder, and we tell you first wherever we can.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep Dhow running at all hours and back it up every night, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your cash counts and bank statements as your own check. Write to hello@getdhow.com and we answer as soon as we can.
8. Liability
As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not responsible for lost profits or for losses caused by others, such as a bank, a messaging service or an internet outage.
9. Ending
You can stop using Dhow at any time by telling us. We can end the service with 30 days’ notice. Either way you can ask for a copy of your data.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. If we change them, we tell you by e-mail before the change applies.
